A Korean fantasy webtoon that started in 2011 and has since been completed.The year is 2014, and scientists have discovered an intangible power source they refer to as mana, which when harnessed allows them to perform feats once thought impossible. Artistic License – History: In chapter 83 we get a vague flashback to the lives of three people in 16th century England. To run down the historical inaccuracies: One of the three people is a swordsmith woman named Emma. It was nearly unheard of for women in the 1500s to work as blacksmiths, let alone wear pants. Wearing pants was considered crossdressing for women, and was a punishable offense. On the subject of wardrobe, Chris, another one of the three characters, is dressed more like a paperboy from the end of the eighteenth century rather than a poor child from the sixteenth. | |
