Crowshed is a Webcomic by anthegran. Maine. Maine had a very peculiar way of serving as mayor, and began acting as the judge, jury, and executioner for any and all legal proceedings in the town. As more people were being sentenced to death for smaller and smaller offenses, there was an increasing amount of reported paranormal activity. After Maine's sudden inexplicable death in 1881, his successor instituted a plan to completely lock Crowshed away from the outside world, effectively trapping it in a technological and cultural stasis.The comic follows Sheryl Cruz, the newest employee of the Crowshed Department of Paranormal Investigation, and Elba Hart, a friendly ghost-detective who operates a machine that creates temporary projections of dead townspeople, as the duo interview projections of victims in order to find the murderers.Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_content_2'); })Crowshed is split into several "books", each of which are split into several smaller chapters.
