Team Rocket Roots (or Team Rocket Manga- Roots as it's officially titled) is a Pokémon anime fan-comic by ndbernarts on Deviantart. The story is complete, and can be read here.The comic revolves around the backstories of Jessie and James, how it shaped them, and the duo having to come to terms with the people of their past. Team Rocket Roots takes place post-Alola and mainly takes place in Kanto.While getting trained for a new mission, Jessie discovers that her Missing Mom is alive and that Giovanni is out looking for her. At the same time, James' parents are having financial difficulties and need James back home. It turns out that Team Rocket has teamed up witn James' parent's company, Morgan Minerals, to retrieve a very important Pokéball that went missing 20 years ago.
