The Murder of Me is a Sonic the Hedgehog fancomic created by Gigi Dutreix (who now writes and illustrates for Sonic the Hedgehog (IDW)) and featuring the hedgehog trio: Sonic, Shadow, and Silver the Hedgehog.Many years ago, there were three brothers named Zielo, Heephis and Celios and they lived in the universe without any evil in their souls. But one day, the three brothers were corrupted by "sin" and it turned out that Zielo, the youngest of the three brothers, was the most corrupted. It was then that Zielo murdered his two brothers Celios and Heephis and he ended up absorbing their powers. Zielo then became the only god in existence and he went on terrorizing the world with his limitless powers.But before Zielo had killed his brother Heephis, Heephis was able to breathe out three souls that would bring an end to Zielo's reign of terror and those souls turned out to be Sonic the Hedgehog, Shadow the Hedgehog and Silver the Hedgehog. It was then that Sonic, Shadow and Silver realized that they have godly powers and that they must stop Zielo's reign of terror.The comic can be found on Gigi Dutriex's DeviantArt gallery. The comic also has a YouTube channel, featuring comic dramas, in-character Let's Plays, reaction videos, and Q&A's, livestreams, and more, and a Visual Novel adaptation, which is a parody of the Dating Sim genre and titled The Lover of Me (yes, you get to romance Zielo!).See also Ghosts of the Future which is another Sonic the Hedgehog fancomic with similar dark and supernatural themes (and also created by a red-headed Promoted Fan, albeit by the name of Evan Stanley; in fact she and Dutreix are the closest of friends!). | |

Their soul-connection makes them feel as if they can rely on one another, despite not knowing each other very well, and the repetition of this line implies that Sonic and Silver’s intuitive trust in Shadow is rooted in that same connection.
