On the 14th of August 2012 the webcomic The Oceans of Tumblr subtitled with "Wabbi's Adventure" launched on Tumblr in which the four Waddle Dees Wabbi, Viv, Crozee, and Kruger set out to the titular oceans of Tumblr. On their journey, they meet various characters from video games, anime, and whatnot. Some chapters are kind of heavy on one particular franchise, as in the third chapter Crozee mentions Gollum a lot and that one does not simply does something. The comic is divided into chapters with twenty-one pages each and five panels per page and is, save for a few exceptions, in black and white. One bonus page suggests that their former employer King Dedede sent them to explore Tumblr for him. Surprisingly it's rarely referenced that the characters are from Kirby, with Kirby himself having appeared only once and scaring Wabbi.
