In the future where robots and humans live side-by-side, an amusement park mechanic named Sam 'O' Malley is preparing and planning to show his Childhood Friend Sue the time of her life before he pops the question to marry him. Unfortunately for him, he's a bit of a Cosmic Plaything, as either his robotic actors/friends unintentionally mess up his efforts, or something goes wrong that manages to endanger people somehow. At the same time, a supervillain named Oscar and his Hypercompetent Sidekick Viktor are running rampant, trying to fulfill Oscar's quest for Mayor Catherine's (Sue's aunt) affection. Coincidentally, the two both buy rings to help propose to their respective objects of affection, and due to a mix up, are after each other to retrieve what they think are their own rings during Valentine's Day. This of course leads to an adventure where Sam and his robots become real heroes.Created in 2016 by Momentum Pictures, Celsius, Digital Idea, and Digiart Production, this CG animated feature has the voice talents of Jennette McCurdy, James Woods, Carla Gugino, Tom Green (of The Tom Green Show fame), Jason Mewes, Jon Heder and Jason Kravits.

No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: Probably one of the scariest things about Viktor is that he pulls none of his punches when he fights, leading to his opponents getting slammed into walls, smashed in the face, and kicked remorselessly.

Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Okar/Okra, he seems like an apathetic laze-about who's only really interested in reading the paper, but give him the chance and he'll really put his all into performing. He's also the most concerned over Sam succeeding in his proposal.

Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Catherine. Her overbearing attitude and high standards on who her family marries towards Sam are what caused him to overthink his plans to propose at all, and directly gave Oscar the idea to become a Supervillain in the first place in order to impress her.

Cable-Car Action Sequence: The futuristic city features a "Cloud Road" — that is, lines turning ordinary cars into cable cars by suspending them with electro-magnets. This proves as unsafe as it sounds when the protagonists start chasing and fighting the villain on Cloud Road, and he resorts to keeping them busy by endangering a Bus Full of Innocents, also suspended.

Shout-Out: Sam, Kit, Wilmur and Okar/Okra match up with the main characters of Journey to the West, them being Genjou Sanzou, Son Wukong, Pigsy, and Sandy respectively. Justified as the majority of them are robots most likely designed with the characters of the story in mind as a theme. Oddly, there's another minor character named Zang who is another matchup for Sanzou. They also have their own version of Special Dweller as the main villain of their show, Ox King.

Freudian Excuse

comment
Freudian Excuse: Unusually for this trope, Viktor develops one as the movie progresses, subconsciously wanting Oscar's acceptance and love, which Oscar, being a selfish Manchild, would never do anything like that, to the point of making Viktor fix a potentially crippling injury by himself. It only gets worse when Oscar reveals that the ring he intends to give Catherine will deactivate all of Oscar's weapons, including Viktor. It's pretty sad, particularly because, unlike Sam and Sue's plot, it never gets resolved.

Limited Animation: Subverted. Some of the title sequence is used for Sam's second attempt at proposing to Sue, however the title shows a fantasy, while later it's Sam's plan being put into action in reality.
