Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_mobile_ad_1'); })Alexander Wright (born 17 May 1975) is a British-German retired professional wrestler and trainer known for his work in WCW during the 1990s. He signed on with the promotion in 1994 and made his PPV debut with a win over Jean-Paul Levesque (Triple H) at Starrcade 1994. Over his time there, he was a 1x WCW Cruiserweight Champion, a 1x WCW World Television Champion and a 1x WCW World Tag Team Champion with Disco Inferno as The Boogie Knights. WWE didn't pick up his contract after buying WCW due to being under contract with AOL Time Warner, so he returned to Germany and retired.

Beard of Evil: He accompanied the mohawk that came with his Berlyn gimmick with a sinister-looking goatee.

Classy Cane: He carried a blinged-out cane as Berlyn. Naturally, he would often use it as a weapon.

Chuck Cunningham Syndrome
Alex Wright (Wrestling) / int_c33ba0a8 | comment |
Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: When Berlyn debuted, he originally came out accompanied by three bodyguards and a pretty female interpreter named Uta, who was getting surprisingly popular fairly quickly. Then Uta and two of the bodyguards disappeared about a month into the character's run with absolutely no acknowledgement, leaving only one bodyguard, named The Wall (yes, Berlyn's Wall).
