BRAAAAUUUUNNNNNNN!Adam Scherr (born September 6, 1983) is an American professional wrestler and former strongman signed to WWE, where he performs under the ring name Braun Strowman.He made his official wrestling debut as new member of The Wyatt Family on August 24, 2015 episode of Raw attacking Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns.He was later split up from the Wyatt Family during the 2016 draft and began his solo career in a variety of Squash Matches before getting annoyed and demanding more competition from management. He is a 2-time Raw Tag Team Champion (once with a 10-year old kid named Nicholas and once with Seth Rollins), a one-time Intercontinental Champion and a one-time Universal Champion.Strowman was one of six wrestlers released by WWE on June 2, 2021, joining 10 other wrestlers who had been let go that April. Once his noncompete expired, he started working the indies under his real name. In February 2022, he and EC3 announced they were starting a new promotion known as CYN (for "Control Your Narrative").Following Vince McMahon's retirement, he made an impactful return to WWE on September 5, 2022, putting the roster on notice. | |

The Dreaded: In his solo run. A large majority of the RAW locker room is terrified of him. Even Mick Foley, who has basically Seen It All, thinks he's a whole different level of scary. Even Brock Lesnar isn't immune to this. After SummerSlam 2017, when Braun stormed out to the ring, Lesnar could be seen visibly cursing (later edited out of replays) about it. This only got emphasized after Lesnar realized that Braun was seemingly immune to his suplexes. Gone up another whole notch with Triple H at Survivor Series 2017, with Strowman seizing Triple H by the throat post-match and assuring him that if he used Braun like he did before,note Tagging him out in the midst of dominating Team Smackdown so Triple H could eventually take the glory by scoring the winning pinfall on Shane McMahon that he will NEVER play "The Game" again. Triple H, mind you, is a 14-time world champion and has faced many big, scary and intimidating men, but he looked as if he had the fear of God scared into him just being in Strowman's grasp. Trips' wife Stephanie McMahon isn't immune from this either; after falsely claiming on the RAW after Survivor Series that her husband fears no one, Strowman storms the ring. Mind you, Stephanie's never had a issue with verbally razing superstars, big or small, but the moment Braun made his entrance? She clammed up, stood in a corner, and quietly left without uttering a single word during his face-off with her husband. Braun Strowman was so dangerous that he was one of the main motivating factors for the re-formation of The Shield, who themselves are The Dreaded, and are still touted as the most dominant force that WWE saw in a long time, if not its entire history. To say nothing of the fact that individually, the three had become the three top stars in the company ever since their original break up. That's right — Braun alone forced three main event-level stars into re-forming their old stable. For comparison, the last time a similar event like that happened in the company is when The Shield themselves forced Evolution to re-form just to take them out. During the Dec. 11 episode of Monday Night Raw, Titus O'Neil and Apollo Crews were bickering with Gallows and Anderson backstage, when suddenly, out of absolutely nowhere, they all scramble for cover, simply because Braun was walking towards the ring for his match against Kane. Even without actively looking for blood, Braun scares the shit out of everyone just by existing in the same place and time. | |

Awesomeness by Analysis: Holy shit, he displayed this on the January 29, 2017 episode of Raw. The Mountain of a Man was promised a WWE Universal Championship match against Kevin Owens if he interfered to cost Roman Reigns his shot at Owens' title the night before at the Royal Rumble. But when he came out to cash in on that promise, Owens, like any Big Bad Wannabe promising title shots for favors when they have no intention to follow through, denied the conversation even happened — so Strowman recovered the tape and played it over in the arena, causing General Manager Mick Foley to come out and make the title match. Then Owens had his best friend at the time Chris Jericho sitting commentary at the announce table to the side near the stage before the match — and Strowman, knowing Jericho would get involved, made a bee-line for Jericho and chokeslammed him through the table. Owens was scared shitless, and, aside from a small period of control Owens had caused by a ring post bump, Strowman would absolutely dominate the match. Even when Roman Reigns' music hit and Reigns came after Strowman for revenge, Braun was expecting it and told him to get in the ring and bring it on. The only thing he didn't count on how much Reigns had left in the tank after taking Strowman's beating and working two matchesnote the Universal Title match with Owens and the Royal Rumble Match the previous night, resulting in Reigns taking down both him and Owens. And even then, he technically still won the match since Reigns attacked him first, meaning he still holds rightful claim to a future world title shot. | |

Cole and company were amazed a man his size and girth could even move that quickly, let alone outpace his smaller opposition... and then against bigger opposition like The Big Show, he can grapple and do a freaking kip-up, and not a rope-assisted one like Show himself used to do, but a middle-of-the-ring one ala Shawn Michaels or Shelton Benjamin (although to be fair, he was aided by the leverage of holding Big Show's arm). Cole and Graves said it best: Strowman isn't superhuman, he's supernatural. | |
