When said boyfriend then broke up with her in the most publicly-humiliating way possible, Xueli came to feel that she had nothing left in her life but Haoyi and vowed to make him love her no matter what and eliminate anyone and anything that interfered with that. Sandy was a talented Teen Idol whose parents and agent merely used her and kept her entire life under control as a cash cow. Even her childhood friend and his parents were being paid under the table to encourage her career and undermine her individuality. Sandy overhearing a conversation between the aforementioned parties was the last straw, and after eating Cupid's Chocolate, she fell into a coma where the imaginary world she lived in was a lot more pleasant than the one she was leaving behind. | |
