Jenitba is an animated short film (quite short, 5 minutes) from Bulgaria directed by Slav Bakalov and Rumen Petrov. It is sometimes referred to as "Marriage" (the English translation of the title) or "Mariage" (the French translation under which this short won the Palme d'Or.A man is seen snoring loudly in his bed. He is woken by his friends who dress him up, putting a tie on him and putting a flower in his hat. It soon becomes clear that the man is getting married. Before and after the ceremony, the man, who is focusing on the "get regular sex" part of marriage, has a series of daydreams filled with overtly erotic imagery. | |
