Di Gi Charat: A Trip to the Planet is The Movie of the franchise that debuted on December 22, 2001. It is set in the continuity of the original series.The plot concerns Dejiko, Puchiko, Gema, and an involuntary Rabi~en~Rose heading back to Dejiko's home planet of Planet Di Gi Charat. However, along the way, the Black Gema Gema Gang attempts to stop them in their tracks.When the movie was released on DVD, a short special called Di Gi Charat: Kuchi Kara Bazooka was included which focused on Piyoko and the Black Gema Gema Gang attempting to come up with a way to defeat Dejiko's Eye Beam attack. |
