The first episode starts out as an atmospheric ASMR where an 11ft tall alien woman attends to the viewer and runs experiments on them. The next several minutes (and the entirety of the next video) consist of her toying with Subject 50499-A and licking them and tasting them. Subverted when she tells Subject 50499-A that the last test involves her scraping out pieces of their brain and then cloning them. Even though she admits that it's the "worst test," nothing bad happens from it, and Subject 50499-A is presumably not left lobotomized or otherwise disabled by the test. Played straight in part 8 shortly after Ackt spits Subject 50499-A out after deepthroating their upper body. By the third video, Acktreal recognizes that humanity is sapient enough to qualify for full rights but notes the possibility that her government wouldn't see it the same way. Thus, she realizes that if she continues to pursue a relationship with Subject 50499-A if they fail to get full rights, other aliens would potentially see it as statutory zoophilia unless she kept it a secret. Ultimately subverted as humanity does gain their rights, and her secret is exposed. The rest of the crew is reasonably sympathetic to Ackt, with the exception of Evianporial Even before then, Ackt pretends to be confused by the thought of Subject 50499-A being attracted to her, sexually or otherwise, and becomes defensive when they suggest that she feels the same way about them. | |

It's revealed that this is actually a major point of contention between herbivores and carnivores, because the latter tend to be biased in favor of new species being classified as livestock, much to the chagrin of herbivores and the rare omnivore who would be more inclined to judge sapience more similarly to how humanity would. | |
