Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves – The Feast of the Moon is a one-shot prequel comic to the film Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, itself based on Dungeons & Dragons. Written by Jeremy Lambert and published by IDW, the comic was released in February 2023 ahead of the film's premiere in March of that year.It is set a few years before the events of the film. The band of thieves — Edgin the bard, Holga the barbarian, Simon the sorcerer, and Forge the rogue, assisted by Edgin's daughter Kira — have just failed in their latest heist and end up in Womford, a town getting run dry by a figure called the Bandit King. An old colleague from Edgin's Harper days brings the team into the fold of heroism...almost.The comic also has a side story, Xenk and the Helm of Disjunction, which explains how Xenk hid the title artifact in the Underdark prior to the events of the movie. |
