Drunk on the Dark Side: Basically happens to Logan when he becomes the host to the Phoenix in #2, tearing through the various Weapon X facilities and ultimately killing Cyclops and himself because he thinks nobody could control this power.

What If?

comment
What If?: The storyline deals with Jean wondering where things went wrong and what would have happened had things went differently. The series could practically be called What If?: Jean Grey. Issue #1 asks what if the original five X-Men, who were once brought into their own future, kept their memories of that trip after the events of Extermination (2018) returned them to the past. Issue #2 asks what if someone else got the Phoenix Force instead of her; in this case, Logan took the controls with Jean telepathically guiding him. Issue #3 has a two-fer where during Inferno, what if she saved baby Christopher from ever being handed over to Madelyne Pryor, and then refused to take back the Phoenix fragment that brought Pryor to life.

Well-Intentioned Extremist: Jean basically becomes this in #1, using her future knowledge to justify mind-wiping enemies and brainwashing the parents of mutant children in the name of protecting them from the general public.
