 Oversoul is an ongoing Shaman King Fan Fic written by author macaroosh. It was originally published in 2010, however the author took a long hiatus, leaving the story untouched for years. The author officially returned in 2015, deleting all the original chapters and giving the whole story a reboot. As of December 2015, it has 22 chapters.The story takes place in the universe of the original manga, albeit with the addition of the author's Original Character Asakura Kali, Asakura Yoh's little sister. Throughout the story, the readers get to know Kali and explore her complicated relationships with the Big Bad Hao and The Stoic Tao Ren, as well as go through her struggles to become a strong, independent shaman, with many, many bumps along the way.Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_content_3'); })It has been well-received by most readers for the accurate portrayals of the original characters, while at the same time painting them in a different light.
