The first time she tried it, she was sick for a week, and actually had to miss three days of school, with Danny assuming she had the flu. Doing this multiple times in a row likely contributed to her passing out after the Echidna fight due to cardiac arrest, taking the equivalent of eighteen days to recover even on her magically-enhanced bed. | |

This is part of why Hundred-Faced Hassan is Taylor's main Assassin when she needs stealth: she looked for the Assassin with the "weakest ego". In a flashback, when she first tried Installing Gilgamesh, his ego was so strong that she immediately aborted the attempt. This is also part of why she was so terrified of Khepri: she was afraid that since the effect is stronger with heroes that she sympathized with/had a connection to, Khepri, being her Alternate Self, would affect her even more, to the point that she would essentially become her. She's not even sure how much of her friendship with Amy and Lisa is the result of Khepri's experience. | |
