 Changing Destiny is a Kantai Collection fan-fiction written by Skywalker_T-65.Funky, almost outright magic, was something that Admiral James Thompson was quite familiar with. Ship Girls operated on the stuff after all, and let's not even get into the Abyssals. But outright getting shot back to serving aboard the girl he considered his best friend?  Alien Space Bats: Admiral James Thompson, commander of the combined Japanese-American Kanmusu unit based at Yokosuka is teleported back to Pearl Harbor circa June 1940 as Rear Admiral James Thompson, commander of Carrier Division 1 of the US Pacific Fleet, with his flagship being the USS Saratoga (CV-3). Some viewers have noticed butterflies before Thompson arrived, which included Blücher surviving the Norwegian campaign and HMS Glorious surviving in turn effecting the attack on Taranto, which happened on the scheduled date of Trafalgar Day. Some suspect it may relate to the same forces that teleported Thompson back to 1940. Chapter 38 introduces a very critical butterfly. The attack on Pearl happening on November 30th, a full week earlier than in OTL.
