Adaptational Badass: Just about every member of the crew are a lot more powerful than they are in canon. This is thanks to both past knowledge (and their powersets from their respective timelines) as well as the non-time travelers having mentors who did time travel: Luffy is practically mini-Kaido from his Devil Fruit and is virtually unstoppable. Nami wields the Soul-Soul fruit and has Conqueror's Haki along with her existing skills in staff-fighting and weather manipulation. Usopp is a highly proficient archer in addition to his skills as a marksman. The Going Merry is a full-blown brigantine instead of the humble little caravel it was in canon thanks to Kaya's desire to join Usopp in his journey forcing Merry to think bigger in designing the ship. Hiyori is a lethal swordswoman capable of curb-stomping Tashigi in one hit instead of disguising herself as a courtesan. Vivi has Conqueror's Haki and the Sand Sand fruit.
