She did this so they would realize being heroes is Not a Game. Unfortunately, her actions also cause Arthur Cheng, one of the Triad's backers, to send Headhunter after them. Taylor bluntly admits that she did think about leaving Gogo behind to go after Cheng and flat-out states she thought of saving her as an annoyance. Taylor also cites this as being the reason why she didn't want to return to superheroics as she's grown so jaded after her experiences back on Earth Bet. Hearing this, Hiro tells Taylor that despite her own words, she isn't the person who she says she is as despite thinking about leaving Gogo, Taylor chose to save her, and she was quite honest about her feelings.
