Morioh, S City, Japan: A city where both the people and the ground itself can possess magic. In the wake of the devastating earthquakes in 2011, the infrastructure and people were saved when the ground erupted into hill-like structures dubbed Wall Eyes. College student Yasuho Hirose discovers an amnesiac man in the ground around a Wall Eye, tentatively named JoJo or Josuke, and helps him investigate his identity while he taken in by the Higashikatas, a family Yasuho is friends with. Discovering that Josuke's past is tied directly to the Higashikatas, Yasuho and her "JoJo" are plunged into a 100 year old conspiracy as they and the Higashikatas are encroached upon by an inhuman threat. Despite the inner-circumstances of each fight being potentially different, the major story beats all remain the same, with the exception of a few original arcs which are almost all flashbacks detailing the pasts of specific characters. | |
