Froggers have their tongues mutated to be long (like their namesake), but are also versatile enough to wrap them around survivors and pull them in. Jumpers... jump at their victims to forcibly wrestle with one's center of gravity and bite at their neck. Mimics are deformed mutants in a box that'll grab and eat whole people in an ambush. One fought in the chapter Freezer Burn, dubbed a "firebird", is a winged mutant closer to a demon rather than an undead human. Traits include talon claws to tear at victims, the ability to cause bursts of fire in large or small doses, and being damn near impossible to kill, requiring a grenade down its gullet to finally kill it for good. Notably, this mutant was specifically engineered to effectively bring Hell to the surface, going by the injection hole surrounded by a metal frame embedded in its chest. | |
