Infernal Tales - A Helltaker Story was a Helltaker fanfiction created by UltimateDemonBeast65 on July 4th, 2020. The fic serves as a direct sequel to the game, starting off several weeks after the epilogue, and was written to try and expand upon the lore and to create a more narrative-driven story.The story has Satan, the former King of Hell, return to the Underworld from eons of travel only to find his successor Lucifer and her subordinates gone. Satan travels to Earth, only to find out that a man called the Helltaker has created a demon harem consisting of Lucifer and the girls, however, informs the group that leaving the throne unattended can have disastrous consequences. The overall story of the fic consists of Satan, the Helltaker, Lucifer, and the other girls cleaning up the messes made from Lucifer's absence, or at the very least problems that were caused due to an imbalance of the Afterlife.Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_mobile_ad_1'); })The fic has canon characters returning as part of the main cast while the author has included various original characters either based on or references to mythological figures and beings.A spin-off called Hell Knights - An Infernal Tales Spinoff was created by Som3bode on September 14th, 2020 with Approval of God.As of the 5th of March, 2021, the fanfic has been discontinued.
