Additionally, the main cast can be just as callous and brutal as the villains in previous parts, but only have slight standards that make them heroic compared to their adversaries. | |

The Worf Effect: This occurs whenever a Stand user is hyped up and isn't able to pull a decent fight against their enemies. The first fight in the series does this to both sides. You Yes-Eyes manages to trounce every single member of the future Pussycat Dolls...with the sole exception of the Bed Twins who manage to do much better showing against the Humanoid Abomination, forcing the latter to finally become serious and defeat them easily in turn, showing how much stronger it compared to it's previous form and in comparison to the twins. It then is easily defeated by Imagine All to demonstrate how much potent potential Joan has in comparison to the other girls. Happens in the backstory after Soft & Wet: Go Beyond managed to defeat Tooru in two hits, it failed to do anything meaningful to the Rock Human King's Stand. Once he evolves his Stand into Purple Rain: Go Beyond, the one-sided fight goes back in his favor. North had been managing to easily defeat Dove's agents one after another in spite of some having powerful abilities of their own due to the vast application of Time Master that vastly exceeds those of previous time using Stands. Then he suddenly encounters Karneval Carnage, one of Testa Raven's Praetorian Guard, who proceeds to defeat North as an afterthought as he heads to Dove's office to meet with him on a potential alliance between their groups. It hints how strong the rest of the group is in comparison to the previous enemies as Karnevel is the weakest member and how much of a threat Testa is to be able to keep them in line. | |

Wrong Context Magic: While You Yes-Eyes' Stand having an unusual power isn't out of the ordinary for the bizarre series, it becomes odd even by the series' standards as the user's identity is shared by has four separate bodies that each have their own unusual Stand. These beings can then re-combine into a single body with a singular Stand, causing the others to vanish, which technically breaks the rule of one Stand per user unless special circumstances are involved, with You Yes-Eyes' case not fitting into any previous scenario. Absurdly Powerful Student Council: The initially seen Student Council of Expectations are extremely clingy followers of Wawei if only due to her natural charisma being a major asset for making the students obey them through her. In execution, Wawei is little more than an unwilling idol to distract the student boy with very little actual political power as the student council essentially brainwashes the students into being more obedient to the rules and the staff can't do anything to stop it before the Pussycat Dolls manage to finally defeat them. Slightly more justified as this iteration was backed up by Justiz Beliver who wanted to use them as secret agents posing as the student council in order to brainwash the future generation into eventually letting him become the ruler of England via popular vote. When this plan fails, he opts to become the Star of the World through the tournament instead. The Pussycat Dolls who managed to succeed them as a part of their bet to get the group off their backs initially, play a much more benevolent example as they're portrayed as a Reasonable Authority Figure. | |

Story-Breaker Power: Given the franchise, certain Stands are exceptionally powerful, even compared to others. North Lane's Clockwork is a power that takes the form of a set of large clock gears that alter the flow of time for everyone except for those North personally selects all temporal abilities in order to defeat his enemies swiftly helped by his power to North himself physically attack Stands themselves. His Armor makes him a One-Man Army able to use given temporal abilities to his advantage in addition to drastically increasing his physical powers- most notably reversing time to a point before an technology was used- that said technology was built to nullify one's ability to use a Stand in case they're too dangerous to fight against. The power's drawback is that its powers can only be used 12 times before reverting to normal with a thirteenth time being certain death. During its short time in the narrative, it becomes very obvious that North was going to steamroll through the enemies during his rescue mission and would've ended the the first major plot by himself due to strategically planning his powers to save for Dove. Naturally, for his powerful ability and no-nonsense attitude towards combat, he's killed off by the real main villain's minions so that the heroines have a chance to shine. Kashmir Harrison's Good Times Bad Times revolves around swapping out entire timelines with another including her current one with several usages in a variety of ways including reviving herself from the dead and altering it so that an enemy that previously overwhelmed her- wouldn't be able to harm her. Said circumstance the latter was used to counter was a power to erase a person's entire past in the timeline being the most potent of the three. | |

North Lane's Clockwork is a power that takes the form of a set of large clock gears that alter the flow of time for everyone except for those North personally selects all temporal abilities in order to defeat his enemies swiftly helped by his power to North himself physically attack Stands themselves. His Armor makes him a One-Man Army able to use given temporal abilities to his advantage in addition to drastically increasing his physical powers- most notably reversing time to a point before an technology was used- that said technology was built to nullify one's ability to use a Stand in case they're too dangerous to fight against. The power's drawback is that its powers can only be used 12 times before reverting to normal with a thirteenth time being certain death. During its short time in the narrative, it becomes very obvious that North was going to steamroll through the enemies during his rescue mission and would've ended the the first major plot by himself due to strategically planning his powers to save for Dove. Naturally, for his powerful ability and no-nonsense attitude towards combat, he's killed off by the real main villain's minions so that the heroines have a chance to shine. | |

Fan-Created Offspring: Joan and Joanna Joestar are the great, great, great, great, great grandchildren of Josuke Higashikata. A far more surprising case would be Ronna Brando, the descendant of Diego Brando who managed to be revived by one of the Guardians of the Corpse Parts shortly after his death in order to have descendants. Erean Davis nee Floyd is one for Tooru, being one of his several Rock Human flings he had while still dating Yasuho, being a descendant of these affairs, with a desire to avenge her race's humiliation. The first Star of the World is the son of Josuke Higashikata and Yasuho Hirose, the former renaming himself Jose Joestar after a traumatic event caused him to become reclusive. The entire Higashikata lineage of the current time period of the story are descendants of Joshu Higashikata- renamed Norisuke Higashikata the V, and Karera Sakunami. | |
