The Mitraka Series is a series of fix-it fanfics written by Systlin.A goddess of mercy hears a plea for justice, and sends her champion to a world with neither mercy or justice. The stories follow a warrior Queen by the name of Systlin (Note: the author named herself after the character) as she is thrown into various stories by the goddess of life and mercy known only as The Lady, allowed to leave only once all the hurt has been undone, or until she embraces her powers and makes her own way home.Systlin is a character from the author's as of yet unreleased series Lady of Ice and Iron. The series takes place after the main story, and started largely as an exercise in catharsis after a friend paid the author twenty dollars to read the Gor series.The Mitraka series contains the following works:Lightning From A Clear Sky: The first story sees Systlin transported to Gor. Very unimpressed by the behavior of the locals, she and her husband Foicatch campaign across the planet to break the chains of the enslaved and free the planet once and for all.A Crossing of Fires: After being transported to Gor, Systlin and Foicatch wake up in Westeros, alongside Sura, Queen of the Sands and Systlin's wife. They know very well how to play the game of thrones, but none will like the way that they play it.Smoke and Summer Ice: Some years after their misadventures in Gor and Westeros, Systlin and her spouses awake in a blizzard in The Blue Mountains, near Kaer Morhen. Joining them is Stellead, the queen's Master of Arms and Aunt.Hand Upon The Strands of Fate: In the middle of a meeting of the Jedi Council, four figures spontaneously appear. No new characters are introduced upon the opening of this story, however it is clear that this is a temporary departure, as Systlin is quickly revealed to be pregnant.Confession's End: Three years after their latest adventure, Systlin, her spouses, aunt, and now High Commander Elias of the Bloodguard find themselves dropped into a portion of the underworld being used to wall off part of the living world.The Dragon Age Ends: A reluctant elven Inquisitor suddenly finds several new allies on her hands. This includes Versina, Systlin's younger sister, and the Lady herself, who Sys decided didn't get to just dump them somewhere unknown without pitching in to help this time. | |

The Ace: Systlin and her companions are all warriors that far outclass those that they encounter on their involuntary travels, thanks to their longer lifespans keeping them in prime fighting shape and access to "the best true-healer north of Sielauk" to ensure that their vigorous training does not damage their bodies. Systlin herself. Long years of training have left her the finest warrior in her homeland of Ellinon, of which she is ruler of the Northern Realms. By all accounts, she began to learn to rule around the same time she learned to walk and talk, and became not only a sharp Queen, but a charismatic leader and shrewd tactician. Not only that, but she is the only known Breaker to have mastered their powers, avoiding going on a deadly rampage through willpower alone. Foicatch is no slouch either. Son of a carpenter who left the smithy he was apprenticed to for the town guard, working his way up until he was accepted into the Bloodguard, guards of the royal family and widely known to be the finest warriors in the land. Even before The Lady elevates him to the role of a minor god he is one of the most powerful water witches alive. A talent he can use for both practical purposes such as sailing, or more deadly, such as pulling the blood out of an opponent's body. He is also noted to be a remarkably good blacksmith, though he never cared to progress beyond journeyman status. Strange though it may seem upon first glance, Sura is often called the most dangerous one of the group. Her ability to speak with and understand animals gives her a massive advantage in any situation that requires a spy, and it is noted several times that humans are animals too. Though she cannot charm people directly, she has an uncanny insight into their thoughts and motivations that can put her in control of any situation she cares to be. She is also an expert horsewoman, having grown up in a nomadic tribe that put great value on such things. Her skill with a spear outclasses The Red Viper of Dorne. | |
