According to Mike, Vicky losing this (via her face-stinging at Skitter's hands) is a good thing, as it makes her more careful. He and his followers are rendered incapable of feeling artificial highs with their drugs, but they still experience the negative effects. Saint gets briefly dropped into cyberspace, Dragon's domain. After being booted out, he never gets near a computer again. Heartbreaker gets depowered, surrounded by his restored victims, who remember everything he's done to them. Armsmaster gets several Dope Slaps to make him more aware of Dragon and his own jerkass tendencies. On the other hand, Mike also rewards altruistic behavior and helps innocents, fixing Garrote and all the Case 53s, sending them back to their worlds, congratulating Jessica Yamada and Mrs. Knott on their work. He heals Piggot and has Canary released (and gifts her a new house). Finally, he arranges a friendly meeting between Grue, Tattletale, Taylor, Parian, Flechette, Vista, Dinah, Panacea, Theo and Rune. | |

Comically Invincible Hero: Mike's got a pretty nice grasp of the overall situation in Worm. Coupling that with Scion's virtually unlimited power, he solves all the problems plaguing Earth-Bet in a matter of days. Although he has problems thinking up things to do when trying to show Eden the wonders of the world, since a lot of things they could do are really not as much fun when you have all the superpowers. White water rafting, for example, has no thrill when you can freeze all the water in time and just walk down the river. Or fly. Further, anything where "Go fast" is the source of the thrills is kinda undercut when you're capable of about three different kinds of faster-than-light travel. Suddenly being put in charge of someone with, again, all the superpowers is a fairly steep learning difficulty. Mike nearly kills himself and/or breaks the planet trying to figure out how to fly, since he has a few dozen of those powers at least. He launches himself into orbit on his first try. | |
