Here, the love was entirely one-sided, with Ozma viewing Salem more as a daughter, and already being married to Jhoira. It was only when the God of Light warped Ozma's memories in his first reincarnation that he was convinced they were lovers, leading to their marriage and children, and that spell was broken after she killed that incarnation of him.
