They are... lizardmen?A Warhammer Fanfic written by J.Logan focusing on a band of Lizardmen who dress as humans and are perfectly willing to use gunpowder weapons while they travel around the Old World acting like mercenaries, getting into conflict with Undead, Skaven and various Chaos forces. Anachronism Stew: Subverted. The author has stated in a comment that while they were concerned about the British redcoats being too modern to include, they chose to have the Legion wear them after learning that the redcoats were first worn as uniforms in the 1500's. Played straight with the Chameleon skirmishers, who wear the uniform of the 95th Rifles. The author deemed it an acceptable pass. Also played straight with the the Efror Guard. Makes sense as they aren't Empire State Troops, they are the personal guard of a minor noble who has to fund their equipment out of pocket. | |
