The Triforce Trilogy is a trilogy of fanmade novelizations of the three games currently set in a fanfic version of the overall setting of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's Hyrule. These include the aforementioned game, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, and the as of yet untitled and unreleased sequel to Breath of the Wild.Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_mobile_ad_1'); })These three stories are a subseries of the author's greater crossover universe, the Marvel Fanfiction Universe, which crosses over DC, Marvel, and Nintendo characters alike. However, the PDF version of Breath of the Wild removes the crossover elements present. Time will tell if the other two installments do the same.The trilogy serves as a more mature and darker adaptation of the relatively light-hearted, if serious-oriented games in the Wild setting. The result is an adaptation that remains faithful to the content of the games while diverging in some significant ways, and connecting to other games in ways that dramatically change the outcome of the stories.
