Adaptational Explanation: This fanfic expands quite a bit on the thoughts of Olive during the events of a couple cases she was on. In "The Briefcase", Olive still screams at the sight of pie, but she also reminds herself that the pie isn't Odd Todd and admits that screaming was just instinct to her — in reality, she liked seeing the pie there and had little qualms with it. In "The O Games", Olive spits venom at Odd Todd as she tells him that he isn't her partner, but she ends up getting confused by her words because of the "once your partner, always your partner" philosophy, and it only gets worse as she finds herself defending his actions and reasoning rather than being against him wanting to become Director for a day to bring Odd Squad down, culminating in her "maybe things would be less odd if Todd won" comment from the end of the episode being Played for Drama.
