Prince and Pauper: Millionaire Scott Hayward and water skiing instructor Tom Wilson swap places. For Scott, it's because he wants to prove that he can make something of himself without his inherited wealth. For Tom, it's just a chance to live it up a little. They look nothing like each other, but they're in a place where nobody knows them, so it doesn't matter.

Not with Them for the Money: Scott wants to find someone who'll be with him for himself and not for his wealth, which is part of the reason why he swaps places with ski-instructor Tom. Dianne, who's initially set on being a Gold Digger, falls in love with Scott and ends up abandoning her quest to be with him, only to find out he's loaded anyway.

So Proud of You: Scott and his father Duster argue about Scott's plan to apply an untested coating of his making to a racing boat Scott intends to pilot. Duster heatedly exclaims that whether it works or not, he's immensely proud of Scott.

Non-Idle Rich: Scott studied engineering and developed a coating called "goop" that's so sturdy, it makes it impossible to break a wooden guitar with a hammer. It doesn't do well in water though, but Scott tries to fix that problem so he can apply it to the boat he intends to pilot in a race.

Conversation Cut: Scott and Tom are on a playground. Scott says he knows where he might get a boat (to compete in a race against James for Dianne's affections). Tom asks "For ten bucks?" Cut to Sam's garage, where Sam replies "Ten thousand would be more like it."

Gold Digger: Dianne is blunt about her goals to find a millionaire husband to Scott (whom she thinks is working class at the time). Scott is clearly disappointed, but they end falling for each other all the same.
