The Expendables 4 (stylized as Expend4bles) is a 2023 American action comedy film, the sequel to The Expendables 3 and the third sequel to The Expendables.The plot has the titular group of mercenaries facing off against a group of terrorists who are planning a conspiracy to start World War III between the United States and Russia with the use of nuclear weapons.Jason Statham, who plays Lee Christmas, is now the new leader of the titular team, while Dolph Lundgren and Randy Couture reprise their roles as Gunnar Jensen and Toll Road respectively. 50 Cent, Megan Fox, Tony Jaa, and Andy GarcÃa also star while Iko Uwais plays the villain and Sylvester Stallone also returns as Barney Ross, though in a smaller role.The film was released on September 22, 2023.
