Mandroid is a Science Fiction Film by Jack Ersgard.Dr. Karl Zimmer (Robert Symonds) is a scientist who, along with his partner Drago (Curt Lowens) has discovered a new element that they name Supercon, from the refined spores of a mushroom they found in an old mine. However, Supercon is also highly toxic when it's being refined, so they construct a robot with a keyboard-neural interface that they name "Mandroid" to handle the containers.Dr. Zimmer wishes to sell Mandroid and Supercon to the USA, who send CIA agent Joe Smith (Patrik Ersgard) and Dr. Wade Franklin (Brian Cousins) to meet with him. However, Drago is feeling unappreciated, and fears that he'll get no recognition despite all of his contributions to the project. So, he decides to steal the Supercon for himself. However, in an altercation with Wade over it, he ends up getting Supercon sprayed in his face, causing him to flee. However, Drago will not be deterred. With the help of a homeless mute he found (Ion Haiduc), Drago gets a metal mask to wear over his deformities, and decides to hatch a plan to take what he feels is his.The film was released on August 18th, 1993.

Facial Horror: When Drago is holding the container of still-being-processed Supercon, said container is shot, causing the lid to burst open, spraying Drago in the face with toxic supercon. He runs off screaming, his hands over his face. The film hides his face for the remainder of the movie outside of a few angles that show off that his head is now rather wrinkled and lumpy. We get a full, unobstructed view of his face at the end, showing that his head is pink and lumpy, and his face is very wrinkly.

Made of Iron: The people in this movie are able to shrug off stuff that would have left a normal person in traction. For example, Ben is no worse for wear after the van he's in crashes into a brick wall.
