After a virus which wiped out adults, the minors in the town of Potter's Bluff were left alone to fend for themselves. Two teen gangs quickly took control of the town, the Titans and the Eastsiders. In the latter are punk lesbian couple Nat and Scratch. The Titans are brutal jocks led by Jeremy who hoard most resources, the Eastsiders are a more eclectic, poor and loosely organized group. When Nat's brother Jack is caught robbing the Titans, she and Scratch are determined to get him back, but it means going into great danger. The film title is almost certainly referencing Riot Grrrl punk music, given the two protagonists (and Queercore, as they're lesbians). | |
