Talking Animal | |
Show Dogs / int_1f14978d | comment |
Talking Animal: A weird take on this trope. Animals can talk to each other, but they can't be understood by humans. However, some animals are treated as if they are understood by the humans around them, despite the fact that they can't. Max, for example, doesn't have a handler at the precinct he works at, until he partners up with Frank and can partake in meetings without people really noticing.

Partially Civilized Animal: The animals in the film can talk and some display anthropomorphic behaviour; for instance, the film features a scene of a dog dabbing.

Happy Place | |
Show Dogs / int_42a055ac | comment |
Happy Place: An unintentionally disturbing example. In order for Max to endure having his genitals touched during the dog show, he goes through this trope, with his happy place being a parody of Dirty Dancing where he dances with Frank.
