Slaughterhouse is a 1987 Slasher Movie written and directed by Rick Roessler and starring Joe Barton, Don Barrett, Sherry Leigh, and Bill Brinsfield.Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_mobile_ad_1'); })The Bacon and Sons Slaughterhouse has fallen on hard times, having been foreclosed upon due to nonpayment of taxes. Owner Lester Bacon’s attorney, Harold Murdock, along with Sheriff Fred Borden and local meat-packer/ex-employee Tom Sanford, arrive to make Lester an offer for his property. Stubbornly refusing to sell, Sheriff Borden gives Lester thirty days to vacate.Lester soon finds that his 360-pound simpleton son, Buddy, has been up to some disturbing extracurricular activities after discovering the corpses of two local teens that Buddy had killed for messing with his hogs. Lester scolds him for it… then gets an idea for revenge… and when a group of local teens, including Sheriff Borden’s daughter Liz, trespass on the property, they’ll all be up on the chopping block…

The Bad Guy Wins: Even though Liz runs him over with the police cruiser, Lester still succeeds in his goal of killing Tom, Harold and Borden, and the ending shows that Buddy is still at large.

Downer Ending: As Liz and a wounded Sheriff Borden escape the Bacon place in Borden’s cruiser, Buddy rises from the backseat, pulls the knife out from Borden’s back, and the film freezes as he swings it at a screaming Liz.
