Beetlejuice (Franchise)	comment	Beetlejuice is a multi-media franchise that began with the film of the same name by Tim Burton. The original movie follows Barbara and Adam Maitland (Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin) a young couple who die and begin to haunt their old house. In order to get rid of the Deetz family who now live there, they hire Betelgeuse (Michael Keaton) to help. However, this is made difficult due to Betelgeuse's malevolent nature and the couple's growing bond with Lydia (Winona Ryder), the Deetzes' daughter.Due to the success of the film it has been adapted into multiple types of media, including a cartoon, two video games, a comic series, and a stage musical.
