Self-Imposed Challenge: Every Pokémon Let's Play he does is a Nuzlocke, meaning any fainted Pokémon is considered dead and may not be used again. He also uses variants of the Nuzlocke, including Eliminationlockes and Egglockes, and sometimes adds a randomized feature to what Pokémon are encountered. For Insurgence, he used a Ranklocke. He gives a military Rank to every Pokémon caught and, depending on how useful they are in battle (getting critical hits, defeating trainers, etc) they may Rank up or down. Pokémon with higher ranking get more focus for level grinding; those with lower ranking are more likely to be sacrificed, when necessary. | |
