A man shows up at the Belland clinic with a stab wound. The chief healer Lance, proceeds to scoff at a beggar showing up at their clinic, and tells others to send him to a clinic for commoners. Only a B-Rank healer or higher can heal a stab wound, and there is no way they would work at a clinic for the poor, so the man is basically sent to die. After being provoked by Lance, Raymond decides to step forward and performs surgery with the help of Hansen, and saves the man's life. Turns out, that man is Clearen August, son of Count August, who was going incognito to send a message to the third prince. Upon learning what happened from Hansen and Clearen, the Duke is understandably pissed off, and proceeds to take Lance away for trial, which ends with Lance losing his right to practice. Raymond, now free of his tormentor, enters the Count's good graces, granting him a strong ally. | |

Unskilled, but Strong: For being a Non-Action Guy, turns out Raymond's swings are fast and hard hitting. Instantly knocking out an unguarded Toms and Seytil and killing a monster. Although this is probably thanks to his stats, this leads others to assume he's extremely talented. Upon beating Seytil a second time, Duke Raif wonders if Raymond is a Heavely Warrior, a talent in swordsmanship that grows even without training. Since Raymond's stats goes up naturally through his skills and medical practice, the Duke is not entirely wrong. | |

The Dog Bites Back: Illegal Healers have been extorting money out of the poor for years, as their only resort for decent healing. But when they start to lose money because of Raymond, they try to think of ways to get rid of him or force him to bump up his treatment fees. Lance attempts to bribe one of Raymond's ex-patient into spreading slandering rumors and rightfully gets hit in the face for it. The folks of the slums were already tired of him for his extortion, but his blatant attempt to sabotage of the one healer that treats them right was the last straw. They all circle him and beat him up so bad that even after healing himself with B-Rank healing, his body still hurts everywhere. | |
