Dryadalis is the first novel in the Thirteen Thrones saga, by Jessica Galera, a story in a modern fantasy land divided between the world of light, Luzaria, and the world of shadows, Noctia, where our young main characters are faced by adventure, romance, love, myths, mystery, and intrigue related to the murder of a royal family in Noctia and the plot to conquer both worlds.Humans, elves, faeries and tides live together in the hustling city of Luzaria. But when Curfew rings, the streets are empty and from the dark walled off zone of Noctia, the gates are opened: necromancers, sorcerers, witches, vampires, werewolves and demons can stroll through at their leisure around the luzaran city, protected by the Common Law, that justifies any of their actions that takes place between midnight and the break of dawn.And the situation is that luzarans and noctis have gone years taking actions with the goal of strengthening bonds between both worlds, divided only by the huge wall that encloses Noctia inside of it: The Empire of the Night.
