Charlotte mocks Jenny by calling her "Amy Johnson" (a famous British aviatrix of the early 20th century, who set numerous records before being crash-landing in WW2 whilst serving as an auxiliary pilot- for American readers, kind of the Transatlantic Equivalent of Amelia Earhart, if you will). The author's note explaining Levendale City's Where the Hell Is Springfield? status explicitly mentions the Trope Namer. | |
