So you're seeing a movie and the trailers roll. An upcoming comedy film is given a sneak preview and...did the character just mention the movie you're about to see?
This trope applies to special trailers or commercials played before select movies, sometimes acknowledging the film they're attached to.

The trailer for Brother Bear was attached to the release of Finding Nemo. In the trailer, Rutt and Tuke say that if you're only seeing one movie this year, see Brother Bear and leave the theater. Rutt says that he sees some of them leaving, but Tuke thinks they're "going to find that Nemo guy" (though other versions of the trailer have him saying that he thinks we're going to the bathroom).

A trailer for Monsters, Inc. played before Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone had Mike and Sully playing charades and Sully tries to act out Harry Potter to Mike, who keeps missing the point. The ending shows that the film is "Now showing at a theater near you. Really near you. Like, maybe, right next door", as the film was already playing in theaters and was probably in another theater in a given multiplex.

A TV spot for Godzilla (1998) that aired during the series finale of Seinfeld had the message "It's time to say goodbye to something that holds a special place in out hearts...", before cutting to the words "NEW YORK" and the monster destroying the city.

An AIG commercial that aired during the series finale of Friends had a female announcer say "A 10 year run? Pretty Good. But an 85 year run. Downright impressive."

The teaser trailer for Chicken Little, which played before The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005), was a Trailer Spoof that opened with a parody of Hitchhiker's own teaser.
