He's a kid in need of adventure, something his home is too small to provide. That all changes, however, when a mysterious stranger named Fue comes to the island and invites him to play a game. Before he knows it, Sanshiro finds himself whisked into a bizarre Alternate Universe to play BakeGyamon, which countless other kids have also come to do. The reason? The prize for the winner is to have their wish come true. Not that that concerns Sanshiro too much. He's just excited to be in this bizarre world playing this game and meeting all these other kids. The manga was serialized from March 15th, 2006 to April 4th, 2007 in Weekly Shonen Sunday. The anime from 2006 to 2007 for 51 episodes.Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_mobile_ad_2'); })
