Brian Zaharias is an indie Illinois-based musician who goes by many different names under many different, yet similar projects. He is an artist who runs musical projects like Dr. Bryant's Funhouse, Soul After, God Hungry, and Strom. He has released many, many studio albums over a short period of time, and yet.. there's not much about him to find out about due to his small and discreet nature. The earliest piece of information we can find about him is this article which explains he started practicing guitar in the year 2000, with his instructor being the lead bassist of Blue Öyster Cult. He also played with a local funk-metal band, the name of which being unknown. He made a small amount of music for the band Strom in 2016, as well as being in the band God Hungry and "collaborating" both bands for three songs, released on ReverbNation. He worked for strings on Strom, as well as being an instrumentalist, vocalist, and producer. He would do tracks with Strom featuring God Hungry, as well as a couple of televangelists.Along the way, something happened that caused Strom and God Hungry to stop releasing music, and Brian seemed to not have touched on music making until 2022, when he released three singles for two new bands at the end of March in 2022. He now continues to release new music often, even releasing two whole studio albums within a short span of time.He often makes music centered around politics and Jesus Christ and other religious topics. His music style is often varied, as one song he touches upon indie rock like Jack White, or funk metal like Primus, or psychedelic rock, or even rapping or jazz. He may even make less musically and more narratively driven songs to make a political point about something, with his right-wing leaning views, usually dunking on topics about the coronavirus and the government's managing of it.

all lowercase letters: Brian often, intentionally or not, doesn't capitalize all of the words in his songs and albums, leading this to happen quite often.

Mythology Gag: "I", as well as being the name of a Soul After album, is also the name of a God Hungry album. For another God Hungry reference, in "Half Masked" Brian states he is "Hungry for God".

Re-release the Song | |
Brian Zaharias (Music) / int_464353f7 | comment |
Re-release the Song: "Rawness", originally released as a single, made another appearance on Babylon Crumbles. He also rereleased "Lame Ants Gerbs" on Body Snatchin, renamed "Lame Ants Terms". Brian tends to release the same song or album across both Soul After and Dr. Bryant's Funhouse, usually with a small change to the cover art or name.

Genre Roulette: Including, but not limited to, Rock, Indie Rock, Symphonic Rock, Industrial Rock, Progressive Rock, Funk Rock, Psychedelic Rock, Heavy Metal, Gospel Music, Hip-Hop, Conscious Hip Hop, Jazz, Electronic Music, Classical Music, Soul, and Elevator Muzak. One thing that will usually stay consistent are the themes of Christianity. Sometimes he even combines some of these styles in one song.
