Communion, real name lvaro Vega, is a Latino Christian rapper and former seminarian. He first gained viral notoriety in the mid-to-late 2000s under the stage name "The Cacaman", where he made parodies of rap and R&B music with a rather irreverent and scatological slant, though one of his songs, "Ain't Got Much of a Smile", was a more serious glimpse on his troubled background and depression. His stint as a parodist was short-lived, however: in a MySpace post he confessed that he had a revelation after a bad hangover, having stumbled upon a copy of the 15th-century devotional book The Imitation of Christ; through this he realised how shameful his former career was, expressing his disillusionment over secular pop music and labelled his former idol The Notorious B.I.G. as "glorifying sin" and rapping "verses that are satanic." Since then, he devoted his life to Catholic music and was at some point a seminarian, though he was unable to fulfil his vocation as a priest and is now serving God in a more devotional take on his once-obscene rap game.He and his music can be found on YouTube and on Instagram.Discography As The Cacaman 2007 - Shittin' on the Industry As Communion 2016 - Creo en Dios

Songs of Solace: "Ain't Got Much of a Smile", though this was eventually averted when he reworked the song as simply "Smile" to reflect his newfound faith.

As the Good Book Says...: Vega's songs now lean more towards this, starting from his conversion to Catholicism in 2008.note He was raised Catholic, but never paid much attention to his religion prior to devoting his life even more towards his faith.
