The band was put together in 2008, disbanded in 2017, and has had 6 members overall. The name Mindless Behavior is taken as a lifestyle, to be true yourself. The band started off with 4 members, lead singer Craig Crippen, Jr. (Prodigy), rapper Chresanto August (Roc Royal), sub-rapper/backing vocalist Rayan Lopez (Ray Ray), and backing vocalist/spokesman Jacob Perez (Princeton).Mindless Behavior would perform at schools and other shows before their debut album, #1 Girl released in 2011 by Streamline/Interscope. It took the #7 spot on the US Billboard 200 in it's first week. #1 Girl gained success with featured singles such as My Girl and Mrs. Right. Mindless Behavior would perform on tour with popular artists such as Justin Bieber, Jason Derulo, Janet Jackson. and Backstreet Boys.Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_mobile_ad_2'); })In 2013, Mindless Behavior released their 2nd album, All Around the World, with successful singles such as, All Around the World, Keep Her on the Low, and Used to Be.In 2013, lead singer Prodigy left the group, and many fans thought he wanted to go solo. Later, Prodigy would reveal that the reason for his departure was due to mistreatment he receieved from the management/camp, and possibly, his groupmates. This left Roc Royal, Ray Ray and Princeton as a trio to continue small performances together without Prodigy. A new lead singer was introduced in 2014 to replace Prodigy, Elijah Johnson, who would be known as "EJ". Prodigy would return a month after EJ joined, and Roc Royal was fired from the group due to criminal activity. Michael River joined Mindless Behavior in early 2015 as a backing vocalist to replace Roc Royal, and later that year, Ray Ray left the group to pursue a solo career. This left EJ, Mike, and Princeton as a trio, and Princeton as the only original member of the group to remain. They would release their 3rd and final album, #Official MB Music in 2016 before the members disbanded a year later.Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_mobile_ad_3'); })Members | |
