Loudness War: Terrible victims of it. The 1991 CD "The Best Of Naked Eyes" is the only non-loud CD release they've had so far; its DR was 13. By comparison, the remaster CD by Chrysalis in 2018 was DR 7 (!!!!).

Love Martyr: "Promises, Promises", about a lover who refuses to stay by their beloved, giving them promises "you'd never keep". "Pit Stop", the B side to the "Always Something There To Remind Me" singles counts as well, with the narrator outright saying "She made me angry, she made me sad. She made me wish that I'd never been had".
