Relapse is the 6th studio album by Eminem, released on May 15th, 2009."Relapse" saw the return of Eminem and his alter-ego Slim Shady, after 5 years passed between the album and the release of Em's previous album, Encore!. The album details Em's trouble with his drug addiction and overdose that almost took his life in December of 2007. The album was one of the most anticipated releases of 2009.The album offers a humorous dive into Em's troubled history with his drug addiction and overdose, while bringing back Em's most famous character, Slim Shady, as he sings about his own drug dependency and the women he kidnaps, murders and sexually assaults. | |
