Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_mobile_ad_1'); })Stup Religion is the second album by French Alternative Hip Hop trio Stupeflip. It is the last album they released for the BMG label, and their last release before a 7 year-long hiatus.Lyrics-wise, this album features more lyrics criticizing the recording industry (and could be viewed as a self-destruction by the band before losing their record contract). The band also responds to claims that Stupeflip as whole was a publicity stunt by record labels, and also comments on their career while being signed to a label. Story-wise, we know more about the religion of Stupeflip and its followers, as well as the childhood of King Ju.The album had less promotion and thus made weak sales, leading to the end of their contract and a hiatus. It's only seven years later that the band would release their third album The Hypnoflip Invasion.Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_mobile_ad_2'); }) | |
