Tyler Cassidy is a self-described "average musician, entertainer, and D-List internet celebrity", largely based out of YouTube. He's best known for his performances as his persona Froggy Fresh (formerly known as Krispy Kreme), with several of his songs going viral in 2012 and propelling him into internet fame. In 2018, Cassidy retired the Froggy Fresh persona and began releasing music on his personal YouTube channel under his real name. Many of his songs are much more serious in tone than those he made as Froggy Fresh, though he releases a fair amount of comedy songs as well. However, many of these feature much more adult humor and profanity, with many of them falling into Black Comedy. As opposed to the rap songs he released as Froggy Fresh, many of Cassidy's songs fall more into the R&B genre. After many videos of him playing the piano while singing both covers and original songs, he released his first album under his real name, Renee, in 2019.

Genre Shift: Twin Flames has Cassidy moving away from the typical R&B sound he usually goes for in favor of a pop-punk inspired sound. Justified, as he's parodying Machine Gun Kelly.

Ruder and Cruder: As stated previously, many of his songs are much more adult in nature than anything he released as Froggy Fresh, which were generally pretty tame and avoided even mild profanity. His Tyler Cassidy songs, on the other hand, feature copious amounts of swearing and dark humor.

Mystical Pregnancy: Pregnant Virgin is told from the perspective of the biblical Joseph, focusing on his confusion over his wife's sudden pregnancy despite the two of them not having had sex. Much of the song centers around his suspicions of infidelity towards Mary, though in the end Joseph decides to be a good parent to the child regardless.

Mistaken for Gay

Mistaken for Gay: Chris Hemsworth 3 centers around Cassidy's mother being convinced that he's gay due to the previous two Chris Hemsworth songs having copious mentions of Tyler having sex with or being attracted to men. Played with, as exactly how heterosexual Tyler's character in the song actually is is rather questionable.

Crazy Cultural Comparison: Played for laughs in Why Do Muslim Women Dress Like Ninjas. The song's narrative ends with a woman in a niqab framing Tyler for a bank robbery, with him coming to the conclusion that they dress that way in order to pull off heists.

Have I Mentioned I Am Heterosexual Today?

Averted in the sequel tracks. Chris Hemsworth 2 instead focuses on Tyler having a lurid affair with the actor. The third song in the series focuses on Tyler attempting to convince his mother that he's straight despite his strong attraction to Hemsworth. The end of the song reverses the roles, with his mother suddenly kissing Megan Fox and subsequently attempting to convince Tyler of her heterosexuality.

Sexless Marriage

Sexless Marriage: Chris Hemsworth focuses on one of these, with the song telling a story of Tyler's wife no longer wanting to have sex with him due to being more attracted to Chris Hemsworth. As a result, Tyler ends up deciding to start sleeping with his male friends instead of trying to win back his wife. Despite the song obviously being a joke, Cassidy had to state in the video's description that it was created to make his wife laugh and wasn't meant to be taken seriously due to an abundance of comments taking the lyrics at face value. Take That!
 Tyler Cassidy (Music) / int_b53077b3

Take That!: The Macklemore's Wife Is A Cunt trilogy was a massive one of these against Macklemore's wife, based on an incident in Los Angeles International Airport, in which Cassidy was in the same line Macklemore and his wife at the security checkpoint, and witnessed the wife having a public meltdown and getting into a screaming match with a foreign woman who didn't speak English. The songs were later removed, and Cassidy's wife confirmed on Reddit that Tyler felt he was a bit too harsh and didn't feel comfortable having three songs dedicated solely to attacking a woman on his YouTube channel, with additional worries about demonetization or receiving a community guidelines strike. Louis C.K. is one towards the titular comedian, mocking the creator for his allegations of sexual misconduct. Amber Guyger is a scathing takedown of the police officer charged for the murder of Botham Jean, who was shot and killed in 2018 after Guyger entered his apartment by mistake and erroneously believed him to be a burglar, falsely thinking that the unit was her own. While the song is comedic in nature, it avoids making light of the tragedy and instead focuses on mocking and condemning Guyger's conduct as an officer. Better Call Feet is much more light-hearted and friendly in nature compared to most of the other examples of this trope, poking fun at Bob Odenkirk after it was noticed the actor was following a foot fetish account on Instagram. Twin Flames has Cassidy delivering one of these towards Machine Gun Kelly, adopting the name "Machine Gun Krispy" and parodying MGK's musical style with a lyrical focus on the artist's recent breakup with Megan Fox.

Lyrical Dissonance
 Tyler Cassidy (Music) / int_dbfd6b8
comment
Lyrical Dissonance: Whole Lotta Gang Shit plays with this, as the song is rather upbeat, while the lyrics are dedicated to being as outrageously offensive as possible. The chorus (which is humorously lyrically unrelated to the rest of the song) exemplifies this, with the upbeat R&B styling clashing with lyrics that sound more like they'd belong in a gansta rap song.
