Paige and Hayward's homegrown god to steal sacrifices from the legal gods has backfired, with the effect having upset the balance of nature itself as prey kills predator, seemingly automatically. And Faulkner frames Carpenter for Mason's murder after Faulkner beats him to death for orchestrating the Drowned Church's ascent to legality. | |
